Colour B4 whilst pregnant

Im 6 weeks pregnant & just wondering if I can use Colour B4? If so has anybody used it whilst pregnant & noticed it works less ect. I'm planning on going a light brown colour & my hair is currently diluted Manic Panic Deep Purple Dream I believe it's called, although I say diluted it's still a very vibrant but deep purple.

There shouldn't be a problem. Might be worth ringing their customer services just to see if they have anything to say. I believe most dyes say not to use them because of the toxic fumes. You can actually die if you use bleach or dyes in enclosed rooms! Colourb4 is smelly, but I don't think they're toxic fumes.

I used it in early pregnancy and it worked well for me, didn't notice it working any less then it normally would.

I disagree here. I think the Colour B4 fumes are potentially more damaging than bleach or dye. A friend/colleague of mine who has a chemistry degree cannot believe they sell it to the general public! It has some serious chemicals in it
So I would say use it outside if you use it at all. I am interested to hear what the company advise.
Huge congratulations on the pregnancy

That's interesting. Did she say fumes specifically? Or something else?

However, we should be using any of these chemicals in very well ventilated areas anyway, pregnant or not is kind of what I'm getting at but as usual didn't word it well πŸ™‚

It was definitely the fumes, she said that when combined the two parts would give off a particular gas (can't remember exactly what now, I know it makes sulphur dioxide but I'm not sure that was the part that concerned her)she also said never to use it near bleach.

Thanks for the replies & thank you Wicked! I think I'll give it a miss altogether then & just keep washing with Head & Shoulders all these chemicals & fumes will worry me otherwise haha.
