Brilliant, thanks!! I have used veggie dyes and the like in the past. I've just never bleached my own hair before so I hope it all goes swimmingly. I'll buy the Colour B4, bleach and coconut oil tomorrow so I'm all prepared πŸ˜€ Thank you so much for your help. I truly appreciate it.

Ok, so, I bought "All Natural LouAna Pure Coconut Oil" The only ingredient is Coconut oil. It doesnt say organic or raw on it. It's a solid/gel type consistency. Will that work for my hair? or did I get the wrong stuff?

That sounds fine. Yes, the consistency is like that when it's colder and liquid when it's hot. It's a good temperature gauge! I put my jar under the hot tap, or float it in the sink until enough has melted. Others put a small amount in the microwave and others warm some in their hands. It's a low melting point, so it's easy.

I think you'll end up with too much then. The heat from your head will melt it and you'll end up with rivers of oil down your face! I once put on a little too much and it really was just all over my skin.

Well to tell you the truth, I already put some on my face...  πŸ˜€ But my forehead and neck are getting a little slippery. lol.
Does coconut oil help your hair/eyebrows grow?

Nothing will really make hair grow apart from TLC and getting regular trims. Coconut oil is good for keeping hair healthy. It's alright for skin however putting an oil on your skin will clog pores/cause acne so tread carefully.

^ I get awful awful spots when I get coconut oil on my face πŸ™ [drips off hair] so wouldn't recommend for eyebrows!

But glad you're a lucky one who's not had that issue πŸ™

There's nothing that you can put on the outside that will make any hair grow faster, doesn't matter what it says one the packet. But it's true of things like coconut oil too. It can help the condition, but won't make it grow. There's very little evidence that even taking supplements does anything.

So no, it won't make your eyebrows grow faster πŸ™‚

That sucks. I need my eyebrows to grow in. When I had black hair, I could soo easily just draw them on or shade them in. Now that my hair is light, no eyebrow pencil looks right, even the blonde ones... But I guess I just gotta stick it out. πŸ˜€

Oh and after putting the coconut oil on my face and going to sleep, when I woke up, my face wasn't oily at all, its like my face absorbed it all. and it feels sooo soft. My neck too. But it has been reeeeeaaally hot here, so my skin has been really dry. So I dunno if I would use this if my skin was normal.

PEOPLE IN NOTTINGHAM!

I went to a shop today and managed to get 500ml of 100% coconut oil for Β£2.39 from a shop called "Xpressions". It's "Pure" coconut oil, nothing fancy like "virgin" or "organic" but I'm a student and on a budget so it'll have to do. I have my hair slathered in it now in preparation for bleaching tomorrow!

How long should I leave it in my hair? I'm just conditioning it.

2 hours plus will work. For you brows try a brush and a fair coloured powder. I started just using a cheap eyeshadow in the right shade that wasn't sheer etc, and it works loads better imo than pencils πŸ™‚ use an angled eyeliner brush.
