I dont know about anyone else but my friend whos got me into it put me on to this site.
This ones for cooking http://www.coconutty.co.uk/coconut-oil-p-38.html You have to use it like marge or butter I think, so she melts it and then eats a couple of spoonfuls a day or puts it in her cooking.

Then this one is a body one http://www.coconutty.co.uk/viviendo-coconut-oil-p-106.html

If it's good enough to cook with it's good enough to put on your hair 🙂

hmm I washed my hair this morning, put loads of conditioner on my hair allover. I have coc-oil on my hair now all over (roots and all) and was wondering if you guys think ill be ok to bleach bath? my hairs in good condition and I bb's like a month a go.
I think itll be fine and that im just putting off actually dying my hair, but my colour is so so gross at the moment i just need it sorting!!
--------------------
ignore this!
i put it on, and left it for the application time plus 10 mins, so around 30 mins in all. then washed it off as it was starting to smart a bit. Also if you want to do this, make sure you rub the oil into your scalp. My scalp was ok, but i forgot vaseline for my ears! behind my ear went red and ouchie so make sure you slather that on too 🙂

also! my hair was amazing after this, really strong and like no breakage at all 🙂

I bleached my hair for the first time yesterday, having left coconut oil in my hair for the best part of twelve hours. Afterwards my hair was in better condition than it was before I bleached! I didnt believe it'd work quite *that* well, I'm extremely impressed 🙂

I had exactly the same result from the bleach bath with coconut oil. My hair actually felt like  the condition it was before it had ever seen bleach! It's wonderful!

My scalp was ok, but i forgot vaseline for my ears! behind my ear went red and ouchie so make sure you slather that on too 🙂

I forgot to do that too 😛 Luckily my ears seem to have survived!

I tried coconut oil a couple of days ago before I put Live XXL ice blonde on it to bleach out the hideous faded violet I had going on. This stuff is seriously amazing, my hair felt better than before I put the blonde on!
I bought a tub of the 100% extra virgin coconut oil, it cost about £7.99 from Sainsbury's.
Definitely recommend it!

I wanna try this... if I can find it in Washington state lol Since the dye doesn't take well to the bottom half of my hair, I'm hoping if I put it all in my pony tail length of my ends, that it will take the dye better and not keep turning out darker than the rest of my hair!

And I can for sure lather it all on my head, wait a few hours, then use this tube of hilights from Sally's to use all over my head with a 30 or 20 vol cream? I guess it counts as bleaching kinda? I use it to get bright red hair and I just want to make sure the dye will take in my hair even though the oil will be on it

autumnphyre - I found it in the same aisle as the cooking oils kinda sectioned off at the end, the brand is 'The Groovy Food Company' XD they didn't have it on the Sainsbury's website so I didn't think they'd have any, but I was pleasantly surprised to find it during my weekly shop! £7.99 is definitely better than Holland & Barrett's prices haha

Does the effect of the oil wear off after a while and reveal bleach damage or will the hair remain in the same great condition?

It actively stops the damage so there is no damage to reveal!
