My daughter who is a natural dark blonde with some natural caramelish tones decided today to put a box of Nice N Easy SB1 on her hair & it honestly looks awful & brassy. I personally think she'd look better with an ash blonde. What can I do to help her tone down the brassy colour? I have no experience with blonde!

Depending on how brassy it is, you could try a blue or purple toner, along with using purple shampoo to neutralise the brassiness.

Blue tones out orange and violet tones out yellow, so a bluey purple will make the brassy blonde much more neutral. You want to use the opposite colour, so putting a pic of your daughters current colour into negative can be helpful.
