Blue Based Toner

I'm looking for a blue based toner for my hair. I've asked my tutor and she was like "what's that?" -.-

Now I've bleached once with 40vol. then I decided that... you know what maybe if I slap some XXL over the top it'll get rid of the orange.

Well... No it didn't, I'm left with a very light orange on my ends, and a brassy yellow near my roots.

Anyone got any recommendations for either blue/violet shampoo or blue/violet toners? I swear I've looked everywhere.

Thanks in advance <3

There are a few options you could go for, if your town doesnt have a Sally's then ebay is a good place to look. Here is a fairly priced one

I picked up some of lush's purple shampoo, completely forgot about it.
I live in the UK, so no sally's πŸ™
eBay is also out of the picture because my paypal account is screwed.

But that looks like a good sort of product to search for. Thankyou!

I'm really struggling to find a darkblue or blue toner, because it's orange I want to neautralise not yellow πŸ™

Nearest one to me is about 20 miles away so I might take a little journey soon and see what I can pick up :3

Oh gosh, even better! I hope they have something, I've had a nightmare looking for the right product. I was contemplating just cutting the orange off, even though I'm trying to grow my hair :L

Since I went blonde I've been using 'touch of silver' weekly shampoo, its got purple pigment innit

http://www.auravita.com/product/Silver-Shine-Treatment.KEYL10931.html?RefId=220&adid=KEYL10931

now it doesn't work wonders! but my hair is getting less yellowy little by little. if you want quicker results id say to use a toner, directions toner seems to work pretty well (I've never used it but I've investigated and plan on buying some when i get paid)

I've heard some people have had good results from using colour with conditioner as a toner if you can't get the colour you want. Maybe try mixing a little blue dye with a white conditioner, that way you can check the density of the colour better, just keep it nice and pale and see what happens.

I picked up some of Lush's violet shampoo, forgetting that i recommend it to loads of clients with blonde hair -.-

I'm going to give it a go, and if not, I've found a product in a local salon which could work pretty well. I'll let you know though.

Thanks for all the help πŸ™‚
