Hi,
Over the years, my hair has gone from brown to grey/white. However, my hairline has mostly remained a lightish brown. I decided to bleach the hairline in an effort to make it grey white. Having done that, I applied white toner to it. The result was excellent and I now have a lovely grey/white hairline that matches with the rest of my hair.
As the hair grows, can I just reapply white toner to the hairline to maintain the colour, or will I have to bleach again, and apply toner? If I do that, how often can I reapply bleach?
Yes, you'll have to bleach your hair's roots at your hairline as it grows through, if it is growing a different colour to the rest of your hair. You can use exactly the same stuff as you did this time, but leave at least four weeks between using products with peroxide in, and make sure you only apply to product to the roots and not the previously-treated hair. The easiest way to do that it to use a brush to apply the bleach, I find.
Can I ask which toner you used?
You will need to bleach the new growth. I do mine every 2 months, otherwise it gets too long and might not bleach evenly.
