Bleaching dreadlocks

Hi there.

I am wondering if any of you lovely folk have ever bleached dreadlocks and what the outcome was.
I am naturally blonde but it is various shades of blonde and I am wanting to go white on top, with colour underneath. My dreads at their longest are about 24 inches.

Any help, advice, warnings etc. would be appreciated.
