I went from red to blonde in the course of 2 days (I know not recommended) but now my hair is way too light. I want it to be like a gold/honey blonde and at this point it almost looks white! I bought wella t18 but I'm afraid that Will lighten it even more which I don't want and I also got wella 9NN. Will any of these help? If not what should I use? Thanks in advance!
The first pic is how my hair looks now & the second is the color I want it to be
The Wella toners have to be mixed with developer and as I remember from your other post you have done 2 bleaches and a bleach bath in the course of a couple of days already? You need to stop using anything with bleach or developer in for now at least or you risk destroying your hair completely.
I think I already mentioned that most people on here don't use the toners that you have to mix with developer as they fade anyway so you are really just damaging your hair unnecessarily with them, much better to make a toner by mixing direct dye with conditioner.
I mean, obviously you are free to use them if you wish, it's your hair - but I'm just explaining why a lot of people on here won't recommend that you do!
If anybody with more experience of blonde can give tips on how to mix a golden blonde toner with direct dyes and conditioner that would be most helpful I think, I know it can be done with Adore, but I haven't tried it myself!
Thanks! Sorry I saw that you basically already answered my question on the other post. I definitely don't want to do more damage on my hair I'm going to wait at least a week before I do anything else but I'll have to look into the adore thing only problem is the beauty supply stores around me only sell the really vibrant shades from the adore line so I would probably have to look online or something. Thank you again!
Buying online is what a lot of us do π
I have no experience trying for more golden blondes though. Her hair looks like it's been bleached and not toned at all.
Yeah I have to buy online as I live on an Island that has no beauty supply stores at all!
I just did a bit of research for you and there is a wash in wash out colour by Clairol Professional called Beautiful Collection that comes in a gold colour, Sally's carry it online. It doesn't need developer and lasts up to 8 washes.
