Bleach / Jo Baz SOS!

So my hair is a dark brown on top and for the last year I've been working with a red dip dye (Directions, poppy red).

Yesterday when topping the red up, I decided to re bleach and throw a Directions Turquoise on one side because I asked general Facebook opinion and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

WHY DID I DO THIS!?! Ugh...

So it's been a while since I've bleached and it went a little lighter than I'd usually go (I usually let it just take the colour off to Orange for red as it's always been a decent base for it).

It would appear the that Turquoise might have at some point been mixed with a darker blue and purple (way back when I had peacock hair) and now I'm just in bits over how it's turned out. To go to work today I threw some Directions red over the top to take the blue tones down a bit (I work in marketing so it's not all that bad for having coloured hair) but it's just so dark and I want to go back to having all the red in the bottom again.

I am an idiot. So! Best way to get the blue out and get my red back on?
I'm concerned that if I bleach again that I'll destroy my hair (as it verged on not being all that great last night) or can I get away with using Jo Baz on Directions then putting the red over that?

SOS! I've got a big weekend ahead and I'm an absolute idiot!

Colour removers aren't usually the best thing for direct dyes as they're meant for permanent dyes, don't go straight for the bleach though, depending on whether certain colours are mixed into the turquoise (certain purples) it could end up going green and staining!

Have you tried some of the fading methods listed here? http://www.hairdyeforum.com/index.php/topic,1704.0.html
