Is there a specifical shampoo we should use when bleach bathing? Like, should we avoid the ones with certain ingredients in them or something? I recall reading something on that but don't know what it was exactly ^^''

Babyvamp, the measurements would be

50ml powder
50ml developer
100ml shampoo if applying to damp hair or
75ml shampoo 25 ml water if applying to dry hair.

Xana, I think a lot of people use clarifying shampoo for this because it's often clear, but any shampoo will be fine.

Thank you for replying, to both questions actually! :3
I shall look into the clarifying shampoo, or at least one special for coloured hair would be a good investment while I'm at it.

I'll be trying this sometime maybe within a month I think, because I want a nice bright Blonde  πŸ™‚ and this seems easy to do.
I hope it works!

How do you apply a bleach bath to your hair? Do you apply it like a regular bleach job or like shampoo?

I'm just asking as with regular bleach jobs I tend to miss spots. I'm hoping with this that I can foam it up and spread it like I spread shampoo for a more even result.

as long as you mix it with water(if applied on dry hair) then i'd imagine you can do it as a shampoo. just remember that your roots will still lift quicker even though its diluted =)

Would these amounts just  be doubled for really thick long hair?

Thanks πŸ™‚

Oooo going to give this a go now.  Never heard of a bleach bath until I found this place, lets hope it works πŸ™‚

I find bleach is a bit too strong, I can't often leave it on for the length of time I should because it hirts my eyes, hoping this method will make it a bit easier!  Wish me luck!!

It seems to have gone well.

Well, I actually love what has happened to my hair πŸ˜€  Eventually, I want to have a very very pale pink and purple or turquoise, so I need super lift, and I think this will be achievable with the bleach bath method.

It is much much much easier to apply evenly than straight bleach, and it doesn't burn my eyes as much either.  So it's all good.  I think I may wait a few weeks before I do it again.  I know this is the sensible thing to do, anyway, but I have never been one for 'sensible...
