Has anyone used the Colour B4 or Jobaz pre-colouring shampoo as a base for a bleachbath? I was wondering how it would come out, ie would it damage the hair more or somesuch?

I think I'll be doing it Friday too, its JoBaz remover day today  ;D

Are you going to use the Colour B4 shampoo before the bleach bath and a different shampoo for the bath or are you using the B4 for the bleach bath itself? (Eeek, what a tongue twister!)

Im thinking about doing this next month and i was wondering if it would be okay because of my hair.  Ive...
....possibly bleached it once every year since 2008 then, threw on colors after that. Mightve thrown on normal colors on it once after that a couple of times.  But within this year Ive thrown on red and thats it....i believe...it was last nov i bleached under my hair and thats it...

SO i guess im asking, would this mess up my hair even more?  I want to go LIGHT as possible for my purple to go more purple ;).. Also if i go with the 40 it should be fine right??

I tried this last night and it worked a treat! 🙂

I followed the instructions to the T (I used the Pantene Clarifying Shampoo) and it is definitely the biggest difference in lightening with as little damage to my hair that I've ever done.

It left my hair extremely brassy in some places but I followed it with Clynol Tone Shot Crystal which left my hair a wonderful silvery white and then did a conditioning mask with a tiny bit of Crazy Colour Pinkissimo to give me what I've got right now.

I'm definitely going to swear by bleach baths now! 😀

I'm planning to bleach bath my hair next week but I've suddenly realised I don't know if I have the right shampoo. Will most be okay? I mean I won't use ones I had for my coloured hair but if I just used a plan pantene pro v shampoo perhaps, do you think it would be okay? xxx

sorry to sound stupid, but this would work with boxed bleach too, like XXL live? and is 2 parts of shampoo the same amount of bleach you measure out but multiplied by two? 😀

I have 2 questions about the bleach bath.

1. I bought a box of BBlonde 40 vol. so can I use the sachets out of that box to do a bleach bath?

2. Does anyone have the exact measurements of each part. My sister is the one doing the bleaching and she prefers things in exact measurements.

Any answers or comments will be extremely helpful.

pierced musie - i used the bblonde (the jerome russell stuff right?) and the bottle is 60ml developer? 120ml of shampoo (on damp hair), and the entire sachet of powder will do it. you just double the amount of shampoo to the amount of developer you use (for damp hair), as the bblonde instructions are to use an entire sachet with the entire mini bottle. the bblonde is fine to use, it's what i used initially 🙂

I do it a bit different, I use an equal part of coconut shampoo as developer, so 75ml of shampoo + one bottle + one sachet.
I usually double this up as my hair needs more of the mixture to cover it.
This is all put on top of hair that's been saturated in coconut oil for a few hours, and I start from the roots then do the lengths as my natural colour is dark and im pink at the mo.
