Back to brown from bleaching?

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place but since I currently have bleached hair I figured I'd try here first. Few months ago I started bleaching my hair in the hopes of achieving the platinum blonde look. I actually did get to where I wanted it but being a natural very dark brunette, I've decided that the upkeep is a little too tedious and I'd actually like to go back to my old colour.

Please could anyone advise the best way to do this? Not sure if a brown box dye is the way to go as my hair is pretty much white and am concerned it may come out a funny shade? Tia x

By far your best bet for this is the adore range of semi permanent dyes in natural shades. Since your hair is bleached you want to be super nice to it, and not use any due with peroxide or developer.
Since your hair is light you have the perfect starting point for any of their shades to cover well. If you post a picture of the kind of colour you're after then I'm sure someone could recommend an exact shade for you. Also you can see some pictures of the different shades in The beeunique gallery πŸ™‚

Thanks for the reply and the recommendation for the Adore colours, had a quick peek and they look lovely, am spoiled for choice!  πŸ˜€

Am thinking of a warm chocolate brown colour, I quite like the sienna brown so far.

I have used their bright colours and really like them, they're really shiny in my experience which is nice. From what I've seen of both of those colours they look really nice, although I have no experience with naturals.

Hi,

I recently did ombre on my dark brown hair at a salon and ended up having were light bleached color from the half down to the roots. I dont like it at all, it looks half dark brown and half bleach blond. Now i want to add a few shades darker to my bleach part at home, like dark blond or light brown. Which shade is the safest to use without risking goind green?

Huge thank you to Marthakins for suggesting the Adore hair colours. I got mine in the post today and here is the result, actually really pleased with it and the product itself was great, my hair feels really good after using and the colour is really rich (crappy pic doesn't show it fully but highly recommend!). I opted for Honey Brown. x
