Hello lovely people  *hugs*

I had my hair bleached at a salon last October as I wanted to go down the semi-perm red route (originally wanted it purple but didn't suit me!) Everything went great, got my level 2 hair to a lovely shade of rosey pumpkin and a gorgeous pinky red semi over that. For reasons known only to herself, the hairdresser then slapped majicontast over the top of it, which turned the colour that nice dried blood shade and my hair to straw  πŸ™

Since then, I've been babying the heck out of my hair (KPak smells like death and bananas but it's a miracle worker) and it's in great condition but it's three different colours: pale orangey red lengths, a stripe of slightly darker orange (leftover Majicontast I presume) and then my dark roots.

I want to stay red so the orange doesn't bother me and I know I'll need to bleach my roots, which I'm comfortable doing, I'm just not sure about the rest. Should I use a colour remover / bleach bath (both?) on the lengths to even them out or should I just do my roots, pop the semi on and hope for the best?

Any advice would be very welcome πŸ™‚

Just put the semi over the rest, well, everything actually. You're using the same colour so there's no need to remove any of the colour πŸ™‚

Yeah if you're staying red you should be just fine, you don't need a very even base for red to cover well!
