2nd Attempt at ColourB4?

Hi All,

I posted 2 months ago after going almost black by accident! I used Colour B4 and got a great result.

I've not dyed it since but now I've got a bit of root growth, I can see reddish tones from previous dying. Is it worth me having another go with ColourB4 or is this my lot now?

I'm really trying to avoid having it dyed so that I can get to my natural or as close to it before deciding what to do with it, if anything.

Thank you.

the colorb4 is only going to make it lighter. you hair under the dye has been lightened and removing more dye (if there is any left) will make it lighter. you wont get anything closer to your natural color without dye. you can use a semipermanent (no peroxide) to even it out. Adore make a good range of natural colors.

Thank you, that makes sense. My only worry is it going a lot darker than I want and choosing the right colour!

If you want to get rid of the red/orange without damage, try this advice I just gave to someone else.

Use a blue or green dye in some conditioner. Try blue first. You don't want it really dark, most blue dyes will need a little bit on the end of a teaspoon mixed into say half a cup of conditioner. Leave it for 30 mins or so. If that doesn't work try green.
